The Zoo

One lazy Fri. afternoon Aunt Susan had the afternoon off and Dad wanted to get some yard work done, so we loaded up and headed off to spend the morning at the Zoo. Above is Aunt Susan and Gracie in front of the Sea Lion Pool. Unfortunately that day we did not see them, but we did see the Polor Bear up close!

Happy Mother's Day

This year for Mother's Day Joe built me a raised bed garden so that I could grow vegtables for the family. He spent the entire day digging out the dirt by hand, filling lining the box, and hauling the soil into the box. I was sceptacle as to if I would be able to actually get anything to grow, given my history with plants but I wanted to try it anyhow. The same weekend we went to the WSU plant sale as well as the Camas Plant sale and Home Depot to buy our starter plants and seeds.
