Well...we are nearing the end of the terrible two's but I can't really remember it being all that terrible (unless more terrible is to come in the next 3 months). I have heard from friends and family that it should really be the terrible 3's and I think that is going to ring true for us. Gracie is starting to exert her independence more and more each day. She knows what she wants and when she wants it and her vocabulary is such that she now has NO problem expressing her thoughts to us. I greatly enjoy all the cute things she tells me each day, but of course am frustrated by those increasingly famous words "I don't wanna!" and don't forget "DADDY Do It!". But I guess that it is payback for the way I once treated my own mother (sorry mom!). I try to hang in there and remember that one day she will love her mom again (hopefully soon). Then of course there are those oh so sweet and cherished moments when that cute little voice says "love you too momma" that just melts my heart. She is my little Princess and a Daddy's Girl for sure. The sad part is that she knows it, she constantly reminds me that she is "Daddy's Girl" in her own words. We love our Princess Gracie!
